GENERAL INFORMATION
XTREME CHAOTIX (XTC) was founded in 2004 and, as such, is recognized as one of the oldest and most widely known gaming teams in the region. Past and present players of XTC have competed at events in countries as diverse as Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea, Russia, South Africa, USA, Canada, Romania, Germany and Australia.
XTC is predominantly based in Singapore. However, we also had former players based in North America. The Singapore squads have dominated the Singaporean scene in a variety of games including: Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike:Source, Defense of the Ancients, Blackshot, Fifa & WC3
The XTC website was re-launched in March 2009. XTC is one of the teams in the region to ensure that its players maintain a high level of performance, discipline and professionalism. Currently, XTC covers the following games: Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike:Source, Defense of the Ancients, Blackshot, Fifa & WC3
With XTC acquiring 32 Championship titles, 22 Silver medals & 16 Bronze medals, most of our gaming teams are the top notch within the South East Asian region.
Since its conception in mid-2004, XTC has strived to stay ahead of the market. As such, we are constantly on the look out for new games to be played in tournaments and new talent to be picked up on.
The business has gone from strength to strength, and has diversified into the realms of an online webshop to organizing local tournaments.
In 2008, XTC officially became a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP.) and has since strived to stay ahead of the market by scouting for new games & talents. Not only do we strive for the best competitively, but we also aim to educate the community about healthy cybergaming & work balance.
THE FOUNDING OF XTREME CHAOTIX
In 2004, Mr. Reuben "Ultima" Wong joined an online Counterstrike clan known as Xtreme Forces and was placed into a minor divisional group WBG (Wrath of the Black Dragons) at the time.
With his addition into the division, he was appointed along with then current team leader, Mr Gan "Predator" Kwok Chuan to bring WBG to greater heights. With Mr. Reuben's involvement the team agreed to be renamed as "XTREME CHAOTIX" or "XTC" marking a new beginning for the division.
The clan had intentions to participate in the coming World Cyber Games 2005 tournament which introduced Counterstrike: Source as an official game. Hence XTC was sent to represent XF in the tournament.
With no prior knowledge of competitive gaming, the team was sent to train at the Cybergaming Recreational Club (CRC) at Toa Payoh Central in Singapore under the mentorship of Mr. Nigel "Wolfgang" Tovey.
Exposed to the world of competitive gaming as well as learning new things from matching powerhouse teams, XTC's players discovered a new world to the realm of competitive cybergaming.
Shortly thereafter Xtreme Forces announced their disbandment and XTC became independant.
Instead of following suit, the players of XTC decided to further build the team based on the passion they shared.
